Wrestling: Northwest Ready To Kick Off The Season In Iowa

(Grand Island, NE) - The Northwest boys wrestling team will get their season started Friday, December 1st, and Saturday, December 2nd in Coralville, Iowa to take part in the Dan Gable Donnybrook Invite. In 2020 the Vikings were suppose to take part in the invite but got cancelled due to Covid-19. The invite at Extream Arena will feature 80 plust boys and girls teams from all over the midwest competing in the individual tournament format. Below is an interview with Northwest Boys head wrestling coach Brian Sybrants talking about the start of the season and some of the wrestlers coming back from last year for this season.
