Work Will Begin on I-80, Near Grand Island

Weather permitting, work will begin March 19 on I-80 near Grand Island from reference post 301+88 to reference post 318+58, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Scodeller Construction, Inc. of Wixom, Mich. is the contractor for this project. Work includes crack sealing. Traffic will be maintained with intermittent lane closures. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is April 2024. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
