Aurora/Scotus on Country 96 Tonight

Due to technical issues, tonight's Aurora/Scotus game will be on Country 96. Pump and Pantry pregame begins at 6:45pm.

There's no need to look at the wildcard points for either Aurora or Scotus Central Catholic. Both will need a win to qualify for a district final. The Huskies and Shamrocks meet in the C1-6 Subdistrict final in Geneva. Both squads knocked off 20-win teams on Tuesday. The Huskies ended Central City's season with a 46-38 win. Booker Sheierman put in 15 for Aurora. Scotus picked up its first victory against a team with a winning record this season by taking down top seed Fillmore Central 49-38. Cohen Pelan poured 15 in for the Shamrocks. The Panthers (20-3) could still get in to a district final as a wildcard.

An Aurora victory likely would earn them the number 15 seed and a potential trip to Auburn (24-0). The Kearney Catholic/Minden winner of the C1-10 should remain below Aurora. However there are five other teams below the Huskies in the wildcard standings. If any of those teams pull upsets, Aurora could move up.

Scotus would likely be the 16 seed with a victory. Omaha Concordia (22-2) is currently number one in power points.
