(Grand Island, NE) - The Hall County Board of Commissioners will have a meeting coming up this Tuesday (December 19th) morning starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Hall County Admin Building. Continued talks will occur about a possible new look for the Hall County Courthouse. Conversations have gone in circles now for several years. Recently in question is the possible adventure of the old Principal Building that was purchased by Grand Island Public Schools. Could Hall County use the facility if GIPS would part ways with the building? According to Commissioner Jane Richardson, who spoke to KRGI on Monday, only 15% of the 120,000-square-foot building is being used now by GIPS. The principle building needs a new HVAC system. The large pillars in the building is also a concern depending on what kind of construction could be done inside to accommodate Hall County's needs.

"We've discussed the idea of like a judicial center," Richardson told KRGI. "Where we could house public defender, county attorneys. With this much square footage, you could definitely look at something like that. That would be nice to have them all housed under one roof"

Notable items on Tuesday morning's agenda include
* DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION DAVIS DESIGN
* DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON COURT HOUSE EXPANSION
* DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION REGARDING GRAND ISLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS PRINCIPAL FINANCE BUILDING TOUR
* RECEIVE & PLACE ON FILE A LETTER OF RESIGNATION FROM DENISE KOZEL, BUILDING INSPECTOR
