Grand Island Baseball Splits Friday

(Papillion, NE) - The Grand Island baseball team went 1-1 on Friday at the Papillion LaVista South Triangular. The Islanders would defeat Lincoln Northeast 10-2 in the game one followed by a game two loss to the host Papillion LaVista South falling 3-1. GI is now 8-4 on the season and will be back in action next week with the Heartland Athletic Conference Tournament and then on Friday, April 12th hosting North Platte in a double header at Ryder Park.
