Girls: Centennial Conference Semi Finals Tonight

(Hastings, NE) - Tonight (Thursday, January 25th) will be the Centennial Conference semi-final matchups on the girl's side of things hosted this year by Hastings St Cecilia. The boys will take to the floor tomorrow night (Friday, January 26th). Tonight's first game will feature the Grand Island Central Catholic girls (14-1) vs the host Hastings St Cecilia (11-2). GICC's only loss on the season comes to Lincoln Christian on December 15th falling in the capital city 74-42. Since then the Crusaders have rattled off nine wins in a row. The Crusaders won a Centennial Conference tournament quarter-final game on Tuesday night over Lincoln Lutheran 48-33. The Hawkettes two losses on the season to Bishop Neumann on December 2nd, 47-24, and to Lincoln Christian on January 5th 51-42. St Cecilia would win a quarter-final game on Tuesday night against Archbishop Bergan 32-22. The two have not played each other yet this season as they will match up at GICC on February 8th. The other semi-final tonight at St Cecilia (7:15 pm) will feature Bishop Neumann (13-1) vs Lincoln Christian (13-1). The championship game will be played at St Cecilia on Saturday, January 27th at 4:00 pm. 

The boy's semi-finals at St Ceclicia on Friday, January 26th will feature Bishop Neumann (11-2) vs Archbishop Bergan (12-3) at 5:30 pm followed by Lincoln Lutheran (12-4) vs Omaha Concordia (13-1) at 7:15 pm.
