GICC Girls Down Lincoln Lutheran In Centennial Quarters

(Grand Island, NE) - After a rocky up-and-down first half the GICC girl's basketball team would prevail in the end defeating Lincoln Lutheran on Tuesday night 48-33. The Crusaders would trail at the halftime break 21-17. The spark in the third for GICC would be back-to-back transition buckets off turnovers by the Warriors. GICC would lead for good and take a 33-29 at the end of the 3rd. The Crusaders are now 14-1 on the season and will now advance to the Centennial Conference semi-finals to take on 11-2 Hastings St Cecilia who defeated Archbishop Bergan 32-22 Tuesday night in the quarter-finals.
